Heard a rumour (maybe on here) that there is a beefed up replacement part for the weak '05 RS Venture W bracket. Is this true?
If so, does anyone have the part number?
Thanks

Glock30,
The pivot arm gussets for the 06 sleds are reinforced. This reinforcement is toward the top of the pivot arm, the welds remain the same.
When my pivot arm failed it was replaced with a 05 pivot arm part number which didn't make any sense to me.
Dealer called Yamaha for me. Yamaha will provide the 06 pivot arm but I would have to pay for labor.
I am working on my own pivot arm reinforcement bracket as shown in previous posts by Aventure and Towing.
For your own safety and the safety of others, I would strongly suggest that you look into some sort of reinforcement in order to prevent the pivot arm from collapsing while operating the sled.
Read the previous thread regarding this issue.
Hope this helps!
Current mileage on my 05 Venture: 11,435 miles, which gives me 5,715 miles for the year.
With my the Polaris / Kimpex wheels installed I currently have 9,685 miles on a set of slides.
