the trick with any good clothing is layering, you must layer with klim as well to get the full benefit. i never believed in all that until i started doing it a couple of years ago. i now use the layer system and i never get cold with my klim gear. you feel cool but never cold, even with last years cold temps dipping down around -45*C last February in the Owen Sound, Ontario one of the mornings. Now that was cold, my fingers tinkled but my body was fine

Have a fxr for warmer days but when it drops low I put on the Choko corduras. never got cold in them yet and the bib gives ya xtra because my nytro dont have much of a winshield. Gets pretty cold here in northern Manitoba.

I think I'll go with Choko for bibs, FXR gloves, and keep wearing my old CAT jacket!
I like my FXR Team gear. I use multi layering. This way I can dress for almost any condition.

I have the Castle X Factor bibs and have never been cold or wet. They have a removable insulated liner which I rarely need.

FXR is warm but every piece I have had has come apart at the seams literally. The sewing of each piece has come loose and pulled out so I wont be purchasing anymore FXR stuff.I like my FXR Team gear. I use multi layering. This way I can dress for almost any condition.

I checked out the cordura bibs and I think I will go with those. Thanks for the input. I do dress in layers, but my old stuff is just old. 21 years ago, when I was fresh out of college and was all of 22 years of age, I bought my current gear. I don't know why, but it seems like yesterday and yet I have no idea what I did last week! My kids have destroyed my sense of time!Have a fxr for warmer days but when it drops low I put on the Choko corduras. never got cold in them yet and the bib gives ya xtra because my nytro dont have much of a winshield. Gets pretty cold here in northern Manitoba.

Klim! I had Choko Gloves because my olympus gloves are wearing out. Choko gloves were junk. I LOVE my Klim Suit. Best suit I've ever put on. Its warm and thermally stable and water proof. The suit has allowed me to snowmobile in only cold gear underarmor with no thermal layers on down to 0 degrees. I put a fleece thermals on if it gets colder than that. I only got cold once last year and the temps were -30 degreese. I didn't have my fleece with me. Only one shirt on beneath my jacket wasn't quite enough, but whose fault was that.... I'm going to pick up some Klim gloves around Christmas to try out.

I went with the Choko Extreme Cordura bibs. They're 100x better than what I was using. Ordered the Pinnacle gloves from Cabelas, for $50. Worth a try.

A good pair of sweatpants or fleece and you’re going to be warm under the bibs. Make sure your dry too!
