I'm in search of the warmest gloves for riding. My fingertips freeze when riding in single digits temps, especially on my throttle hand. I have tried numerous brands and recently bought some Klim Powercross, which turned out to be disappointing (nice gloves, but my fingertips still freeze.) I want finger type gloves vs mittens. I already have the skinz type handlebar protectors on my sled (Sidewinder) as well. Interestingly, my brake hand palm will get too hot on my high setting, but throttle tips are still cold.
Any suggestions?

FXR leather Gauntlet glove, also available as same glove at Yamaha dealers with Yamaha logos on them. Thinsulate 200 gram in palms and 300 gram on back of glove.

This sounds like a familiar story. I too am a fan of gloves finding much better control of the handlegrips which unfortunately cost me a bit of money chasing down that perfect glove for colder temperatures. After almost freezing a couple of digits with standard gloves, and then blistering the back of my hand with heated gloves, I'm resigned to going back to my gauntlet mitts, preferably thinner in the palm, heavier in the back.

I actually have 3 pairs of Yamaha (made by FXR) gauntlets, but they are not a leather version. I may have to check into those. I know mittens may be a little warmer (and I do have a pair), but don't feel they're as agile or allow as good of control of handlebar accessories (throttle and brake included. ) Mittens aren't accommodating for signaling to oncoming sleds either (such as how many riders behind you.)

Buy the ski doo gauntlets, my fingertips get cold easy and the rest of my hand could be burning from the handlebar heaters, no glove worked even with handguards. Now I just wear klim 3.0 liners in the gauntlets and love it, I toggle between off and low. Takes some getting use to but now I don’t even notice they are there.

Are those the muffs that attach right to the handlebars?

FXR has good battery powered heated gloves which actually work really nice but they are rather expensive.

If you're not so set on glove gloves (which in my experience is a tough proposition, mitts are always warmer), these work way down in the -20s and 30s. I use them with a Klim liner glove, 2.0 or 3.0, and I'm toasty at all times. Still use the thumb warmer occasionally. Have not yet mounted the handlebar muffs.

Went through the same thing until I learned to ride with mittens.
I use klim mittens with the 3.0 glove liners and my hands NEVER are cold.
I ride a lot of Northern Quebec with -20-30 degree temperatures. Doesn’t look COOL but function over looks.

It’s hard to be any cooler than a big pair of fur gauntlets...

Actually saw a guy with with some sort of fur glove gauntlet set up in Matane Quebec and said to myself.... that’s BAD #*$&@!!!!

X2.....I tried a pair of inexpensive handlebar muffs @ 0°. Just to try. Slipped on a pair of mechanic gloves.
Was too hot to use warmers. Had to turn them completely off.
