Heads up on this - thought I share this with others. I recently had my top gear warrantied as the original had tons of slop after only one season.
The new one had tons of metal filings in the 3 holes, presumably left over from machining and the holes on the inside of the gear through the bi metal bushing had terrible burs.
Take a minute to inspect before just slapping it on. Mind needed serious cleaning before it was fit for use.

I'm glad I'm old...no excuse for this crap. I was an apprentice in the early 70''s and the old timers would kick your #*$&@ literally, if you didn't deburr a part you machined, and clean it thoroughly. We also had inspectors that would rat you out if you took shortcuts.Heads up on this - thought I share this with others.
