I have contacted my dealer about the possibility of providing a "warranty" covered rear heat exchanger to correct my overheating problem. He tells me this sled was designed for deep snow (really?) and they won't cover it under warranty. I know some have had them covered! Who are you and where! I need ammo!

My brothers rear heat exchanger got torn to crap and we dont know how. the bill came out to over 800 dollars to fix it.
Asking about warrantying that was out of the question.

I told my dealer about overheating on my rx-1m and he got me the rear heat exchanger right away.
Didn't pay for it and no questions asked at all.

I just installed a rear heat exchanger, when I asked my dealer about it, he didn't even know what I was talking about, I had to bring him in the part number that way he could see for himself that they made one, it cost me 150$, I would've liked to spend that money on something else so if it is covered under some kinda warranty I wanna know too

I'm not saying they are covered by warranty, but my dealer has told me the Yamaha rep says than NONE have been covered by warranty - it is a deep snow sled and a rear exchanger is not required. From reading past posts it seems some have had it covered, just wondering where!
Rear heat exchanger only cost $79 & tax CDN small price to pay
for complete satisfaction . I would suggest one regardless of how
