Finally got a 100+ miles under my belt, great sled, here's my take on it.
First the bad.
1. Fouled plugs right on the trailer, 0 deg. out, to delight of my doo and cat buds, but I got back at them later.
2. Handwarmers didn't work that well, I'm used to Yamaha "melt heat"
3. Wind shield is a litte cold.
4. Inside ski lift was bad, but I'm sure I can tune that out.
Ok, the good.
1. Engine is turbine smooth and the POWER! WOW!
2. Clutch is verry agressive, I like that.
3. Gas useage was low.
4. Front suspension was awsome, blows trailing arm away.
5. Rear suspension is much better, rarely bottomed, took the studder bumps with ease.
6. You get alot of looks at trail stops
I really like it, great sled, good job Yamaha. Back to my doo and cat buds
we lined up on a road, 03 mxz 700 studded with a can, 02 viper, studded
02 Pantera 1000, not studded. It was no contest, I could not belive the hole shot I got and just kept pulling away. I'm studded 162 down the middle, thats it. Then I herd the excuses from the doo " I didnt get good traction" whatever.

McDoug my handwarmers do the same! The service guy told me that they are designed to heat up with RPM's when your on the throttle!
I changed my secondary setting from 3+3 to 2+6 and I'm now seeing as much as 10500 RPM's. Try it ! You will see a difference 8)

Bob Miller are you getting over 10,500 and holding it ? or do you get 10,500 back to 9500 and back to 10500 after a distance ? My Warrior does the latter .
