My brother in-law bought an 04 Warrior. He is coming off of a 03 RX-1 with antiratchets because of the problems they had with ratcheting. Does the Warrior have the same problem with the 136? We like to run the tracks very loose.

Tighten to spec and you should be OK. I used to run my Warrior a tad looser than spec and it was fine.
track
Depending on how much transfer I have it set at. It rachets at full transfer need to tighten up on the track.

The main cause for ratcheting on all proaction skids is with regards to weight transfer. The problem is that when the control rods shift into high-transfer, they do so by slipping the rear of the skid up and forward, thus loosening the track. If the track is tightened within spec, this should not be a problem. If it is, the SECOND cause for ratcheting is a cracked W-arm, which allows the rails to pull forward when under power. Again, this allows the track to loosen.
Now as for track tension.. very loose is NOT a good thing. Loose is SLOW (contrary to popular opinion) because the track baloons out and increases wind resistance in the tunnel.

Not so sure I agree with you LB,I have Whal bros. drivers and a loose track and I picked up 7 mph on the gun, tightened the track to yammys specs, slowed the old girl down by 5 mph. So I run it loose as I dare to and still keep the front cooler free of holes.

3 04 warriors in my family (well, 2 now cause my brother totalled his)....anyway, they ratchet like an SOB if the track is at all loose. If tightened up the track will still ratchet occasionally, but I can live with it like that. I'd go to extraverts, but I've got like 5000 miles on my track and it's still mint, so I can't justify the cost of a new track too (stock has every 3rd window closed).....Now if I lived in the US and a new ripsaw was only $399 instead of $700-$800 like here in the Great-White-North, then I'd consider it.......

My Experience.
Track a little looser than spec, max transfer, some ratcheting.
Track to spec, min transfer, no ratcheting.
