Just a question for those who installed a rear cooler on their warriors..Is it necessary to install the protectors over the cooler ??? Yes I have a studded track.I installed a cooler today on my sled and it looks physically impossible for the studs to hit the cooler..The cooler when installed ..sits perfectly level with the existing tunnel protectors..and I never struck those before..and I've taken a few hard smacks..I had two people stand on rear bumper approx 380 lbs still a couple of inches clearance.Just curious if anyone else experienced this instal before??? Oh by the way it's the proper cooler for a warrior that I bought from a fellow TY member (thanks Rob)I want to take the sled out this weekend to enjoy the powder but want to make sur about the install..I was looking @ other pics on this site of installs and with the new protectors it seems that they are not needed..Can anyone post their experiences
Thanks
MIke
;)!

Studs will hit. Do search, there are a few posts that have pics of stud damage. Even with 1"x1" square tubing I used to fabricate protectors the studs still hit. Not enough to make a hole but enought to rip up the fins.

The studs will hit.... BTDT.

I made some protectors out of 1" square aluminum tubing. The studs still hit some but not enough to worry about.

i put them on mine! would hate to take a chance at a hard hit and knock a hole in your cooler! i also picked my wifes rage this year and i had to add to her cooler protectors she was getting damage. my 2 cents!
