Those who have installed a temperature gauge what is the normal operating temperature , and what would be the max temp that you would shut it down?, also did thy use a digital or dial style gauge?, and was it in Fahrenheit or Celsius ?, and lastly what was the size of the sensor adaptor "T" ?, inside or outside diameter?
I put them in all 3 of my rx's and my rx mtn turbo don't quote me but I think back then 170 was normal it shuts off auto at 200 ish.
It was always Deg F. Cant remember but I think it is just a standard brass threaded plumbing "T" 1/2" with adapter for the censor to fit but may have been 3/4"

Good snow my rx stays near 165°F....personally I don't like to let it get over 200°F. They will shut themselves off at 220 or near there. I forget the exact temp. I installed the digital gauge, this link is install for dial type

Same for me on temperatures. I found a 22mm sender kit at Royal Distributing that worked with an analog gauge from Princess Auto- probably your cheapest option and it works fine for me. The gauge even looks stock.

Mine is around 160 to 165 and rarely ever moves, other than idling. (with fan/radiator installed)

YammyRX1, I'm glad you stated the size, for some reason I was thinking 18mm, is that the Koso sending unit?, if so I believe it's cheaper at the Koso Canada website than at Royaldistributing, I have been thinking about ordering the gauge and sender from them.
It's a nice mod, I don't know why they would ever have a sled without a temperature gauge?, even my 08 GSX, I had to buy the module to turn on the display already installed in the gauge?, WTF?

Yes, it's Koso. The gauge really gives you piece of mind especially on those warm days.
