Just weighed my sled tonight with 4 digital shipping scales. Sled came out to 617 lbs with everything included below.
2014 Viper XTX
162" 2.5" camo extreme track
timbersled skid with fox shocks and reservoirs
antistab kit
extra wheels near center shock
EarthX 36D battery
Full tank of fuel
MCXpress 190 turbo
Vertical steering
38" wide a arms

Ski weight was 286 and skid weight was 331 (213 lbs on center shock which seems like a lot compared to a pro at 3 lbs but with rider the center shock and rear shock carry my weight evenly)

thats what i figured for a wet weight. interesting thats its tail heavy. figured that would be the other way around.

It is really center heavy right at the center shock. I would not have thought there was that much weight on one shock.

Now you see why I ended up with a stiffer spring on the center shock

Mine are fox floats so a bit different scenario. I also believe the MTX shock is longer so it has more ride in to help get on top of snow better. I worry about all the weight on the center shock as it can make for a "trenching" good time. Typically why center spring rates on mountain sleds are set soft so it provides more lift.

How was the left/right weight on the skis?

Turbo side was about 15 lbs heavier. I was able to adjust shocks so with rider it was only about 10 lbs difference.

Not to bad. I think the can it's kinda heavy, should be possible to make it a little lighter. Would balance it even better.

Keep in mind I have a ts skid which carries weight different and very even. Curious what a stock skid would be like. I am sure I can remove some sir pressures and get very different weights on center shock.
I plan on removing the exhaust for a straight pipe. Trying to get down to Ulmer for him to make me one. It should remove 6 lbs I think.

Right, I realize that but are you goin to pull 200lbs off of it? That's a big difference.. what psi are you running in the skid?
I've had a number of TS skids, and I know they work well. They're not a CR or RacersEdge but for the $ they do the job imo.

If I put more air in rear shock and then adjust the low speed compression I think I can pull a lot of that weight off center shock. Going to play with it and see. Just when I am on the sled and that should be what matters the weights from the center and rear shock are about even.
I don't have my notes in front of me but I think I have 80 lbs in center and 100/150 in rear with evol.

Change out your front skid shock spring with the stiffer one and go compare side by side to a Pro....I have. Even the Pro rider had to admit mine had better traction in deep powder.
EDIT: that was against the Viper with the 2.6 track, Pro doesn't stand a chance traction wise against my 3.0 lug Viper.

Sting, let's just agree to disagree on the whole front skid shock pressures etc..
I ride with Pros (different lengths, lug height, and power) everytime we go outwest, I have compared and tested too.
There is no magical one setting that works for it all. Whether it be boondocking in the trees, downhill runs, chute climbing, trail running or whatever. We all ride differently and like different settings.
