I have a brand new 2009 left over FX Nytro RTX which I have ridden ~50 miles.
The last time I had it out I noticed that the suspension started to get really stiff.
I put the machine in a garage and melted off all of the snow that had built up in the skid.
It appears that the weight transfer linkage broke free and dropped into the track which is now also damaged.
Prior to the ride I had banged the track out to make sure that the suspension components were free of ice build up.
I did not hit anything and had not been rough on the sled so I have no idea what might have caused this failure to occur.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem with a new Nytro?

Thank you for your replies folks.
Perhaps this machine was made on a Friday afternoon.
I always thought that Yamaha had the best quality control, hope this is just an anomaly.
I knocked the ice out of the track each time before I rode so that should not have been the issue.
It has been sitting at the local Yamaha shop for a few weeks; hopefully they will get to it someday soon.
Good thing ND winters are long.
