First you need to fill in your profile, location and other.

The bearing you are talking about is the Jackshaft bearing. Simply remove the secondary clutch, behind it is the bearing. There is an internal retaining ring that should be removed as it makes removeing the seal mush easier. Once you get the ring out clean the area getting all the debris out, no need to push all that junk in to the bearing. Using a small pick or small flat screwdriver (like the ones used for glasses) CARFULLY pry the seal out. Work it out carefully, clean out th bearing, inspect looking for any signs of rust or damage. If all looks well, apply grease, you don't need to pack it full as that will only cause it to leak out the back seal anyway. Inspect the seal for damage, if ok, reinstall the seal by pushing back into place. Spin the track a few times to make sure the seal edges are correctly seated. Reinstall the secondary and your all set.

There are two bearings that you should be concerned about. 1 is the above mentioned "Jackshaft" the other is the "Driveshaft" which is located below the seconday, behind the speed sensor gear. It's not a huge task to replace and if it does go it will likely destroy your speed sensor. The Drive shaft bearing is also exposed to more being in the tunnel. Do a search and you should be all set. Lots of posts and info.
