I think my belt deflection is way off, my belt constantly squeels and its quite annoying. Can anybody help me out here?

take a washer out on the screws behind your secondary for the beldt deflection that will make your beldt sit lower it's too tight.

And if that is a little too loose, take the washers to the hardware store and get some that are the same I.D. and O.D. but thinner. Then you get rid of the squeal and get a little less deflection for better response.

Your belt is to tight and is rubbing on the clutch sheaves and making a squeal. Like pro116 said you can take the 3-8mm bolts out from behind your secondary and remove the washer behind each bolt. This procedure will loosen your belt tension.

On my machine Yamaha had installed the thick washer (1mm- #90201-06431-00) from the factory. When I removed the washer the deflection was a little to loose. I then installed the thin washer (1/2mm- #90201-061H1-00) and had the proper deflection.

The information I gathered on this site was to torque the secondary bolt to 46lbs.
