What did Yamaha leave on table to entice us next year?

Yamaha delivered a lot goodies for 06 but I am wondering what didn't make the cut this year that will be the enticements for the next three years?

Things like:

Direct drive
Electronic compass- or even better GPS
factory turbo
adjustable handlebars and seating position
flashers
alternative way of starting the sled (recoil starter)
and maybe even a feather weight boondocker

I know it's early but what do you think we'll see next season?

not exactly sure..i dont think yamaha will put a factory turbo in. i hope they dont. one more thing for guys to bitch about. if u want a turbo buy one. i dont think they'll put a disaster drive in but maybe with yamahas "refinements" they could make it work. gps would be nice. but other than that not sure. i've heard of some guys sayin that yamaha is experimenting with lightweight metals and spray on strenthener?! not exactly sure what that is but it sounds cool. too bad i dont have the $$ to get a new one.

i wonder how big mtn tracks will get? look at the last 5 years..from like 131 to 166...dont be surprised if polaris comes out with like a 170 just to get there name on a front page or something

If they are producing enticing enough products, they don't need 06 owners to upgrade next year.

All the Doo, Poo, and Cat riders jumping ship to Yamaha will keep them in the profits.

They will steal some Polaris and Doo faithful this year don't know about Cat are they are really loyal and Cat may have a surprise this year.

I could really see a huge turbo on their (A/C) 4stroke...make that 660 as reliable as the F7...

i heard cat is makin an f9 and a t880 4-stroke...not sure how accurate that is. anybody know when other manufacturers r releasing there sleds?

I also heard Cat has a 800 twin with a turbo making 165 hp.I have to wait and see.

EFI Genesis 120

My votes:

1. EFI on the 120hp Genesis
2. A security starting system, like an electronic key, etc. (Sled theft is becoming a bigger issue, especially sleds with $10k price tags!)
3. A traditional seat sled, like the Vector, but with the 150hp engine
