Hi all- just looking for some feedback on an idea I had. First of all, my Gt has about 1700 miles on it, and after my last trip, I notice a few small tears in the seat. Called my dealer, and of course they shipped out a new cover for me, and all I have to do is have it installed and send them the bill for the installation. At the same time, I order a set of simmons (black w/ silver loops). In a very strange coincidence, I received the seat cover yesterday, but it was black and blue, rather than black and silver. The simmons I ordered came today, and they were blue and silver, rather than the black and blue. I was going to send everything back, but now I'm thinking of putting the blue stuff on. I usually don't do any cosmetic alterations to my sleds, because I'd rather save the money for maintenace/parts/repairs, but this stuff is already here and I thought the blue might be cool. My jacket is blue as well. Any thoughts??

IMHO their isn't enough blue on the sled and will look out of place.
And for the record, I prefer Blue

I say do the blue.....ya'll be matching your personal gear and be different from everyone else......just my 2cents!
Now that I rolled my RTX and lost half of a decal I was thinking about taking all the stickers off and going black, I like that mid windshield that is all black in the acc. book. Only problem is that I have the flamed jacket, decisions, decisions.

Mighty's right! There aren't enough blue accents to make it look right. I've got the black Simmons with the silver loop and they look great.

I'm going to add blue trim and custom paint to my GT in the summer to match my gear. My sleds have always been red but the blue is warming me up. 8)

Where's the seat tearing

3 separate spots- both sides, at botttom front seam where silver meets black, and then front left side all the way forward.

If that could be done in red I'd do it!

Rash, I really like yours. The reason I didn't even consider the red was because of the seat. Seeing your's makes me realize it was a simple fix
Well, truth be told I'm not a fan of those "Tribal Graphics"

thanks for all the input guys- after further inspection, I realized the seat cover didn't even fit, I"m guessing it's from an rx1. I've given up on the idea, skis got sent back, black with silver loops are on their way (now at dealer cost, thanks to their boo-boo).
fast-eddy- thanks for doing the pic

My thoughts exactly... just beware the aluminium snaps under the seat can not be found so must be made up from scratch when reassembly of the seat...
