Hopefully picking up my Apex Mtn this Friday. Those of you who already have them what accessories do you suggest? I'm considering a skidplate, handgaurds, and rail scratchers (ok these are a must w the SC).

i bought hand guards and then i coulndt use them i also got the elight weight battery and skid plate.

Decided on the handgaurds (TJ's has an adapter for em), the Yamaha skidplate, and MPI scratchers. I am still on the fence for the tall windshield. Oh, almost forgot about the lw battery.

RAM mount for the GPS, Left hand throttle, LED tail light so you can remove rear rack, avalanche probe and shovel mount.

How much weight does removing the rear rack save?
Carry my shovel, probe, and handheld GPS in my backpack.

Not sure what the rack weighs, but its fairly heavy. Has solid steel bars running through it under the plastic, felt heavy when I took it off.
