What foam to get for seat

I need to add some foam to my apex gt seat that thing is way too soft and I need about 2" more height, word on the street is the cover will stretch but what foam do you get? I searched it on ebay and it all look good to me. I dont have a clue. My plan it to put it under the existing foam to keep the same shape just taller hopefully.

neoprene, polyethelyne, closed cell open cell I never knew there was so many options. Thanks for the help!

Ah just jam a 2X4 inside the stock foam lengthwise.

Actually on my Vector, I had actually contemplated trying this, then I just bought a Mountain Mod seat.

I got 4" of High Density foam from Jo-Ann Fabrics. It's a hobby-type general foam sold in blocks 2", 3" or 4" thick and cut to size. Price was per sq. ft.
