I have a question on what type of epoxy/glue to use to hold the brass tubes for the vaccuum lines to the carb boots.
I was doing a carb sync and when diconnecting the lines the brass tube came out of the carb boot.
What will work and not be effected by fuel/oil?
Thanks

I would replace the boot. if the repair job fails and the brass tube gets ingested into the engine it could cause some real damage. its just not worth it.

I second that.

If the material is hard enough, use a NPT threaded barb.

Happened on my Son's warrior, we put it back in and put a little rtv around it, been 2 years and still fine.
Also Yamaha sells the same adhesive that is on the barbs.

Thanks, SnowWarrior
I was going to try some type of RTV just looking to see if there was a proper one to use.
