What is a good GPS to purchase

Have you tried setting map details to high? Or zoom in a little closer?

So after reading -it sounds as though buying a nuvi 255w and the vv maps will work when powered buy the sled? And can do so for less than 100$ easy.

Will that simple plan have any draw backs?

No, I joked that the map chip cost more than my first Nuvi 255w. Still showing me the way 3 years later....
