Use the soft spring for low boost.
What is your waste gate set at, the waste gate setting is the lowest boost you will get.
What is you target boost level?

Yes but the softest spring is for 0-5 PSI if I have understood it correct. Wount that mean that I wount be able to go over 5PSI?
I will be setting the waste gate to about 4 PSI at sealevel on a rather cold day.
The highest boost I will be reaching is about 7 - 7,5 PSI which will be for the powder days when the MCX 190 is needed
My bet is that I wount have to adjust the wastegate cause I think the base pressure is pretty much spot on but we`ll see.
I am alittle worried about this manual boost controller install cause I ain`t the sharpest knife in the drawer haha =P

Leave the waste gate alone.
It's the amount of boost the spring is able to adjust for, 0-5 lbs on top of your WG setting, so you're good with the soft spring. The soft spring is for low boost applications like your system.
I have my WG set at 12 lbs, with the soft spring boost would not go higher than 13 lbs in my application. I run the heavy spring at 22 lbs. The heavy spring is good for at least 25 lbs.
