what kind of boost can i run mpi stage 2

the sled is set up with 18 pounds on race fuel. but we are turning it into a mild trail runner with just pump fuel if i can. what kind of boost can i run. was thinking 10 pounds this is whats done

What elevation and what is the octane of your pump fuel?

sorry roughly 1500 to 2000 and 91 octane

According to the boost/octane calcualtor stickied in this forum section you can run 11 pounds of boost at 1500 feet with 91 octane fuel if your compression ratio is 10:1.

Having said that DO NOT take my word for it. Use the calculator yourself and make your own decision.

That is what I run is 10lbs but boost is not all equal if your running a stage 2 blower that is a lot more air then my stage one at the same boost level. I would maybe under rev it and keep it around 9lbs. You could splash in some Torco as well to help keep things together, this worked foe me on 87 octane and 10psi stge 1. i used the whole 32 oz can.

Put Meth on it. You've got some $ into that bad a$$ motor. Relatively cheap insurance then you can run 18 if you wanted to and gas up anywhere.
