All years of Apexs IMO are good.
I would go with the lowest mileage, unmodified, 136" Apex I could find.

Yea, its tough to find an attak here that's in great condition. Lots of standard apex options with the shorty in the $3700-$4400 price range. All years of Apexs IMO are good.

I traveled 5 hrs to get mine..with 800 miles on it... I would of gone further because it's worth every minute.. take you time and look...you'll know when you see the one you like..this is a tough time to buy them as you want one to ride and they know it's the time to sell.Yea, its tough to find an attak here that's in great condition. I would say No, it's not necessary. I've been on my 06 Attak since i sno-checked it and the only time i had heating issues was the first year because those ones came from the dealers with an antifreeze rich coolant mixture. Never a problem since and I've been down miles of snowless logging roads.I have a 2006 Attak. Is the rear cooler a necessary update?
If I bought a low mile Apex/Attak it would take atleast $1500 before I would ride it. Really don't like the way they handle in stock form.If I had to do it again, I would buy as new as possible with the fewest miles. I purchased an 06 Attak last year with 11k miles on it for $3800 (that is cheap here in Canada) but have put another $1500-2000 in parts which brings my cost to about $5500. At the time I could have bought a mint 09 with low miles for $6000....I wish I would have did that. With sleds, spend a little more up front and you will end up spending less later on....
