I beat my reborn 2001 used-to-be 700 now 800 XC. It was only about an 800 ft race though. I pulled ahead by 2 sled lengths by around 70. After that the 800 started catching up, ran out of room before it could pass though.
I had similar results against my dad's '02 800 X.

I race a 600HO Rev 10 times a day anytime my bud and I go riding.
We used to be dead on ever, from launch to 107 on the speedo... side by side. But as I get the miles on, I am now able to slowly walk him as the speeds increase. Breaking in nicely.

With a vector???.....no way...I beat vectors by two sled lengths everytime with my 03 600 HO...mines stock...if yours is stock too, then I don't believe you...No stock vector has ever beatin me.
i beat a a skidoo 600 sdi in a thousand feet, also beat a couple of srx's and vipers. also raced a f7 and on the bottle i caught her-yes her- and would have passed her but the 1000ft came too quick-i didnt race any f6's tho
