I was playing with some clutching last night and I noticed the stock weights that came on my vector were 8FA-17605-10 after weighing them on a digital they were all close to 63 grams. I pulled out my service manual and that states these weights were for models sold in Europe. Looks like they should have been 8ES-17605-00 (54.63 grams). Did I end up with a factory mistake?? My clutch kit also came with 53 gram weights. What's everyone got in theirs?

Can you see the number when the clutch is assembled?
What would weights that are 10 grams heavier do to the performace?

If memory serves, 10 grams is quite a bit!!!!

Why would Europe be 10 grams heavier?

I don't even know where to look at the number on the clutch and I was just totally surprised to see that much difference in weight. I think the Europe thing has to do with altitude tuning but I'm no clutch expert. So who knows. I thought maybe a misprint in the book.
