Guys I would like some input on what to buy. The two options are a 2007 Apex GT with 2300 miles or a 2008 Apex GT 40 year anniversary model with 5800 miles for $400 cheaper. So would I be better of with the wear newer model but it has 3200 more miles on it. Both sleds have studs the 2008 has a newer track 1200 miles on it shocks rebuilt and yamiheaters. 2007 has the orgional track and comes with cover. Just looking for some opinions

Only difference between the 2 sleds is the 08 has the ohlins front shocks.
Yamaheaters are a must for any Yamaha sled.
I would buy the one in better overall shape, I bought a 07 apex gt new and put just over 25 000 km without any major problems.

2008 has the reinforced W-arm which is worth the extra miles imo.
But overall condition of the sled should be your first concern not a few extra miles

miles are not a big issue on these normally. the maintenece is. go with witch one was maintained better when you see them.

A 2007 Apex GT also has the Ohlins shocks, front and rear. It was the non-GT models in 2007 that lacked Ohlins suspension. So, the sleds should be relatively equal in that respect. Agree with others that it would be best to buy the one you prefer in terms of maintenance, overall condition, or just the color you like best. Don't think you can really go wrong with either one.

- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
the 07 has non replaceable bearings,no rear cooler, front pivot arm weak but I owned 3 of them putting 10k on 2 and 5k on the last. I know own a Vector XTX 2016. Also own a 2013 vector ltx. I would take one of these over the Apex's. Because for the same money you will get a newer lower mileage and much better perfected chassis and great haul #*$&@ engine with power steering. Easier to maintaina as well.
