I currently have an 02 MM700 141", and its really looking like Im going to upgrade to the 03 RX-1 MTN 151" , with proper mods to the RX-1 its going to be really interesting to see how the season plays out.
-Another reason for wanting a new sled is, I have put my first sled the MM700 through back country hell, and it survived, but its starting to get sketchy, and I have dreams of building a turbo sled, and the MM700 was a fun chasis to Mod, but i have always been interested in the RX-1/Apex.

Yeah I seen a few turbo'd out here and it blew my mind. Then I seen Paul Gibbs Apex MTN in Revelstoke in the Forcast video and decided that I think I want to try that.
Im an extreme athelte I use my Snowmobile to hunt down 40+ft cliffs to jump off of with my snowboard, I spend my entire winter filming in the back country.
I have never been on one, here in whistler no one really wants you riding there sled in the backcountry, besides and all my friends ride ski-doo.

Never rode an RX1, but I prefer the seating position on the apex models 100%. The stock track on the apex mtns are junk but for our annual snowfall of maybe 6-8 ft it did the job for a season. Never, ever got stuck with that 162". I could bury that front end and just grab the flipper and watch it dig out. Plus Im not one to be tinkering with carbs expecially in the mtns. Some guys its their forte, but I keep my carb tuning to my yard machines. Couldnt be bothered, fuel injection all the way.

have fun burnout it seems like you live life to the fullest. If I were you I would go with the fI sled no matter what brand.

(its gonna be a Yamaha, its the only Chassis I trust to Turbo)
"Living the Dream" - The more I look into it the More I realize I should get the Apex MTN and not the RX-1 I think that 162" track might be the deal maker, for the terrain I ride, Problem is cash, So I need my 02 Mountain Max 700 or My 03 R6 to sell so I have an extra couple grand to get the EFI or Im gonna have to buy and Ride an RX-1 for the season (no complaints).

I'd say the Apex MTX is worth the extra cash, no question. Good choice. I hope it works out.

110% especially for my style of riding, I'm really hopeing my sled or my streetbike sells this week, Thanks for the info, It really helped get my mind in the correct buying state.
I Want the Apex...
-Fuel injected is the way to go in the mountains
-16x162" track vs 151 track and both sleds almost weigh the same
-better handling is important be cause if it dosent handle well its gonna hit a tree.
-acceleration is my best freind in sketchy situations
