I have the same problem. Tall windshield, yamaheater, and Klim fusion gloves. This year I am going to try handlebar muffs. My thumb is fine but my fingers are still ice cold. The yamaheater helps but it hasn't solved my problem.
I am open to solutions also. What is the boost for yamaheater?

Boost module for the yamaheater makes all your factory settings warmer, and seemed to make my thumb warmer very warm also. Gives you lots of adjustment with different warm settings. Works great.
Before you start riding, grab a handful of snow, melt it in your hands, wipe your hands off quick on your bibs and jacket and put your gloves on. It helps waken up the circulation in your fingers. It works. Also helps warm your hands up when they are frozen. Sounds stupid I know but it does help me at least.
Or, you could try a pair of battery operated heated gloves.

Could you tell me where to buy the boost kit and part numbers? I have looked on the Yamaha Corporate site and did not find it.

X2 - contact Rock & he will solve your cold hand problems. Since I installed my Yammiheater w/boost I haven't even been close to cold. Been to warm but that's a problem I can deal with

x2- get ahold of Rock. He's a great guy and is always willing to talk to you to help solve your issues. I have an 09 with the boost module on it and most of the time I can't turn anything up past half way when riding because it just gets too hot... and my hands get cold VERY easily. If it weren't for Rock's heater I would have probably gotten rid of this sled a long time ago.

Does anyone know if this is a problem with all Nytro's or just some. I don't want to be on a week's ride to find out I need them.

Get the Yamaheater trust me you need it. I had a couple bad trips due to cold hands I mean freezing hands. There is nothing wrong with the handwarmers themselves they just don't have enough power getting to them.

you need yamaheaters. Ijust ordered the boost kit couple days ago for some extra hot. nothing worse than cold digits.
