I just went on the Yammy website and found 3 dealers within 25 miles of your location, 10 dealers within 50 miles. You are spoiled with options my friend.

I would go with the yammie for the warranty also I heard from a dealer that the yammie a will have improvements that the cat will not because car chose not to do them. Not sure if this is all accurate but it wouldn't surprise me. A 3 year warranty is huge by itself

Yes i belive Yamaha will tighten it up in the Arctic Cat plant. And Cat will do the same. Also, just figured out that Yamaha isn't selling a cross tour version. Yes I know the XTX ic close, but no cigar.
2 year versus 3 year warranty ??
cluth ??
Going cat. Now just gotta figure out how to pay for it.

Yamaha had sloppy joints on there own chassis, why would they tighten them up now. I think the Cats had better ones to start with.

Well, your on a Yamaha site here...so your honest and reasonable question is going to be 99% biased in the Yamaha direction out of nothing more than brand loyalty.
I personally would probably buy the Cat. Out of principle. The very existance of the sled...from either company...would not be available if Cat wouldn't have invested in the new Procross/ZR platform. I don't see why anyone would reward the lazy and unfocused company who brought a 5 year old engine to the game rather than the company who made it all possible. Combine this with the fact that you like the local Cat dealer...and you might have something else to think about.
I know this opinion will be flamed. I understand brand loyalty. I understand Yamaha quality. Those are definately valid points to consider. Out of principle...there is no way I could reward Yamaha over Cat with my hard earned dollars here.

Who doesn't like what sled?I think Yamaha and Cat will be basically the same great sled. I'm not bashing neither.

LOL! I have two Nytros and two Phazers.....ALL with sloppy steering I had to correct and not one of them has over 3k miles. The Phazers were terrible with plastic steering bushings. Yes, that post did make me laugh though.........

Me too. Very bad example. Funny though.
