Its no doubt more maintenance on these shocks vs a spring shock but worth it in my opinion for the type riding I do and I can fix them myself. Most that leak its just a defective Schrader valve.

I believe there were 9 sets of CC valved available and 7 sets of Sno X valved. They will not be in the Cat Track system even.
How much did you pay for them? Anywhere you can order them online?
You would need to find a dealer willing to ship them. About 1/2 off but my dealer rides with me so didnt make a penny.
Hook me up with your dealer and have him ship the shocks to me in Sweden![]()
Part # 5639-735 for XC maybe they are available in Sweden also?

Maybe but the price for sure will not be as good as in the states. Parts here are ATLEAST twice the price. I order most of my parts from the states.

Guys its Christmas time! Check them out. High and low speed adjusters even. I hope some of you got the same deal I did. Still looking for a complete RR skid to make my Viper RR but I am really seeing the benefits of the Yamaha and AC alliance. This shock package would not have ever been affordable to me if not for it. Lots more options open to us now.

No, but felt like I got a really good price for these from Country Cat online compared to other places I was finding.

Awesome.Maybe they got in on it and passed it on to you. We will have to keep in touch to compare settings next winter. Should be interesting to see how the XC valving is. Do yours have the steel rebound adjuster? Never seen that before on Evols.

Is there a good starting point setup for these shocks for trail riding?

I will probably start where they are. I got a book with mine. May want to check out this thread. Keep in mind the stock Cat ones dont have Hi/Low so not as adjustable.

I pick mine later up today when I get up north. I'll have to check to see if they have the steel rebound adjuster and let you know.

First off, the shocks look amazing. I did check for the steel rebound adjuster and it is there. Can't wait to get it on the new Viper next year and start playing around with the settings.cannondale27 said:Awesome.Maybe they got in on it and passed it on to you.
