Just picked up another Apex and it is darting pretty bad. Took the ski off and I think I need new carbides.
Does anyone know what type of carbide this is? I am hoping to replace with the same as there is already a whole drilled in the ski where this one comes up at the front of the ski. I just don't like the idea of having that empty hole there. I originally thought they were snow trackers but now that I have the ski off, I'm not so sure.
If anyone knows what carbide that is or think having a hole there is not a big deal and would recommend something else, please let me know.

Looks like a standard carbide with a Woodys navigator in front .

As for the second part of your question, if you choose to go to a different carbide, that hole would make absolutely no difference at all, and if you don't like the look of it, a little black silicone would take care of that.
I use Woodys Slim Jims on my Apex, no darting...

It's really odd. Definitely looks like a single piece. I don't want to take them off until I have something to replace them with as I may break them

Does anyone know if the holes will be in the same place for the snowtrackers verse the cobra heads that are on there now?
Snowtrackers. 12.75" from tip of ski to center of hole
