Picked up newVector & checked to make sure that all shafts were full of grease. How come they use 2 different colors of grease in their rear suspension. What is the best grade of grease to use & who makes it.

I use Mobil 1 synthetic, Myself. Any low temp grease works.

No matter what the color, try to find a water resistant grease as it will tend to not wash out or hold moisture. Amsoil makes a good one.

I use Yamaha suspension grease. What I like about it, is that it is a clear grease. Somehow I always seem to end up with some on my jacket during adjustments so being clear is a plus.

Yamalube suspension grease.

Any low temp

Yamalube suspension grease.
I had a gentleman tell me he uses the clear Yamalube grease in his single engine plane. He won't use anything else. If he trusts Yamalube in a plane (and trusts his fife) that's a good enough reason for me! Been using it for about 4 years now.

Used to use Mobil 1 but was happy to get away from the red mess it created. I pump a LOT of grease into all the fittings...making sure I get the old grease and any water out.
