Hi guys, I am going to buy a used Grizzly 660/700 and am trying to do some homework first.
What years are the best for the grizzly? I am hoping to shoot for an 05-07. Do these bikes have any specific problems?
Thanks for the help!

might want to do some reading on grizzly central (i think that is the site name). the 07 is the 1st model year for the 700 with eps so there might be a few flaws. most of the problems i have done reading on is the rad plugs with mud and needs to be cleaned out after running a mud hole to prevent over heating.

The early 660 had axle problems.... go with an EPS model 700.

yep, axles were popping out of diff on mine, plus most 660's burn oil,the 700 has a way better engine, does not burn a drop and stays gold till next oil change, plus eps is a major bonus, drive in 4wd and you cant hardly tell

I have a 07 grizzly 700 4300 miles now only issue was cv joints in the rear after 3000 miles . A minor issue as far as I am concerned running larger tires will do that. The Gizz has been excellent machine no dissapointments here . Installed Gorilla axles in the rear thats It . I would highly recomend the Grzzly 700 with eps

Bypass the 660 and get the 700. You will be a lot happier.
