Just looking at a few used Nytros on the market and was wondering what the differences are from 2008 to 2014? It doesn't look like much has changed, but I'm new to Yamaha (or soon to be new). I've found a few 2008 and 2009's with super low mileage for a good price, but don't want to get one if there have been considerable changes that you can't see like engine, electrical updates, etc compared to the 2010's and up. Thanks for the info!

2010 I'd say is the best I have a 2009 and added a few little thing to match the 2010 like a bracket on the running board to the tunnel and all. If you can stay away from the 2008 too much to do to get her good like front end and weak sun frame... That's just myersonial option

2010 and up is your best bet. I picked up a new 2013 xtx and I would say that is Yamahas best effort to date. The dual keel tuner skis make it a completely different sled, the handwarmers have more juice, and a few other things. Mine is completely stock..haven't altered anything and im more than happy with it. I would most definitely recommend the xtx over the shorty no matter what type of riding you do.

I was told to just stay away from all '08s as well.
Picked up this '09 RTX with only 347 miles from a member here 3 weeks ago, drove over 600 miles to get it but well worth the $5300.
It's basically new....
R1Larry included the OEM skis, a perfect cover, brand new tall windshield, brand new extra skid plate + take off one, 3 roll around dollies, CD maintenance manual, Fox shock pump.
Great guy, thanks again!!
I added the Excell 6 wheel kit & dupont sliders, everything else in my sig line came on it.
