Depends on how much money you are willing to spend. A newer one would be great but if all the updates are done - any year will be fine. I have an 07 with 0 problems. Its all about maintenance and not abusing the sled.

I think it really depends on condition. I also have an 07 and so does my sister with no issues. My brothers 08 has been more temperamental.

I'd give my experience to 13 and up. Tuner ski's and longer track (xtx tested) made these Phazers a totally different beast. Had a 13 last season for abit. Went back to my 07 and it was night and day different. 13 and up much much better. Comfort and control. IMHO
