Wondering what is a good price for a 2 place enclosed aluminum trailer purchased in the USA, trailer to include ski guides, tongue jack.

Here in Ontario your looking at $3500 to $4500 Cdn, can they be had for less then $3,000 in the USA?

Going to the Novi show in a couple of weeks what kind of deals can I expect there?

A lot depends on other options, length (10ft-12ft), I would get a 12ft. Wheel size, (the larger the better bearing life). Tilt, or ramp, tilts are nice but to me the ramps are a bit more friendly in terms of loading, especially two sleds. Drive on/drive off, I had a drive on/drive off, never used the front. Brand has a lot to do with it as well. In terms of clamshell trailers, I think the Tritons are hard to beat, might be a few more bucks but worth it. $3,000 to $4,500 is probably about right, you may get a discount at the show just because they don't want to haul it back. Make sure to get a spare tire, and do not mount it outside, just keep it in the nose.

They were going for $2850 at the Toronto PS show last week. North Port Trailers on Port Perry has one on Kijiji for $3050..looks to be a nice trailer.

Just bought a 6x12 v nose for a single sled and the best I coudl find was around $2800 in the states. Ended up with one for more money but its a lot nicer trailer.

2 place enclosed not a clamshell type are about $4000 ish in the midwest US anyway.

bought a new aluminum 12' clamshell trailer this summer all set up with tongue jack, guides, mats, an ski bars---$2,800

I have a 10 ft I got from USA trailer here in MI. I paid 2250 for it 6 years ago and they now go for 2850. I kick myself every day that I didn't go with he 12 ft. How ever I did talk with them in the summer lookin to upgrade and a 12ft was 3350 plus tax and jack. I will say that it pulls like it isn't even there even loaded.

You could also consider a snocap. They can send you the parts (canvas and aluminum tubes) and you weld or bolt onto your trailer. I've had mine for five years and love it. No fading, no problems. It weighs less and costs less. You can pick a trailer you like and they'll make a cover to fit.

^X2. I have an 8.5 x 10 sled bed with an aluminum enclosure installed. Cost me total 2500 us. The only thing I dont like is the single hinge support on the aft end. It would break your neck if it ever fell on you. It is pretty funny to watch your buddy start his sled on it. Big yank on the rope...pow. Back of your hand right into the support. Ouch.

It works but theres better out there. You also need a bit of a truck to pull it it. The areodymamics of the enclosed trailer radically effect towing. Not a big deal but you definetly know its back there.
