It's on!!! 3 inches of good snow and counting landing on top of the frozen sold base the rain left behind.

That’s good cause when I left St. Germain yesterday 1 day earlier than we planned there was a lot of ice and still was freeze raining. I really thought was gonna end the trails until it snowed. We rode all day Sunday with a mist and trails were already getting bad

How about an update after the storm is done on Friday. I haven't been to my cabin on Squirrel Lake yet this winter because the trails have been great over here in Crivitz.

The storm on Friday will just be icing on the cake. Solid 8 inches yesterday that had good moisture in it. Groomers ran as soon as the rain from the weekend started freezing so the base is pretty much solid ice with 6 - 8 inches of good snow. Another 5 - 8 inches forecasted for tomorrow. Trails will be good from this afternoon through Saturday. I can see Hwy 51 from my office and there are already a lot of trailers showing up. I'll give the braap boys until Saturday evening to ruin the trails again.

Just plowed my driveway. Official measurement is 19 inches of new snow. So much snow the groomers stopped running until the storm ends.
