I know some of you guys were putting short snow flaps on your 121's with no rear heat exchanger. Have you guys had any problems with them over heating cause of this. I'm sick of running mine over in reverse.
Thanks, :yam: :yam:

me too

Yeah me too! The short accessory flap has been on backorder and I got sick of backing over it too, so I cut a few inches off the bottom with a sharp razor blade. Couldn't look any worse than it already did...those studs really did a number on it. Haven't had a chance to ride since so I can't tell ya. I'm going to go back and order a Venture flap because it's only 12 1/2" anstead of 16". One way or another, that old raggedy thing's gotta go! :o|

I installed a short flap on my RX-1 121 inch..... The Rx-1 has the stock cooling exchangers and I have had no problems with the short flap.... The original long flap was run over way to many times and looked like dog crap.... Decided to go with the shorter version and have not run over it or damaged it in anyway...... ;)! No overheat problem and I have run with very scarse snow on the trails as well......
