Interesting to see the reaction. The people with the '03's who had already decided to trade up before the '06's were released...are like a kid on his first date...what about everyone else? Time to get out the wallet?

Your only giving one choice  I vote no! I will keep my 04 warrior for at least 5 years This is the best sled that I have ever owned and I want to get my money's worth out of it 8)

If I could afford to trade up I would, but I just bought the Vector last Dec. So I'll keep it at least for the next year, then trade up.

Great new line up. Congrats Yamaha
06 Yamahas,
Look great but based upon what they allow for a trade on an 04 Warrior with goodies can't see spending the money

If they didn't force all their customers to go to rider forward - I would have probably said Yami hit a home run. I like a lot of the new sleds, it is just too bad they are norrow mindedly looking at ditchbangers.
Doo had the same problem, that is why they had to put the Mach out with a more laid back setup. For those of us that run a lot of lakes and a lot of high speeds - you don't want to be more forward = less stability at high-double and triple digits.
Cat and Pol both still run sleds that are laid back - Pol was very smart with the adjustable handlebars and with their Turbo 750 coming out in a few weeks, it will be interesting to consider. And Cats Hi-perf 4-stroke is being released in early March. The Cat engineers were most impressed with the RX-1 and spent a significant amount of their budget on a supposed RX-1 beater.
Interesting days ahead.

That's why, IMO, Yamaha blew it by not increasing the performance more on this new platform motor that will likely continue in its present form without any enhancements for at least the next 3 model years or so.

Just bought an 05. I'm not trading up just yet. 500 dollar difference in price is well worth what I would get though, so I don't quite know how to pick one option or the other.
