What's your opinion on yamaha's step?

Yami already stated they are committed to the snowmobile market, and are coming out with a new sled every year for the next five years leading up to the 50th. Sure, I understand how you are a bit sore about the Viper, its not 'true blue'. However, its pretty exciting to have a bullet proof yami motor/clutch setup sitting above a pretty kick #*$&@ suspension, even if it is green. Hell, Im seriously considering a Viper next year pending the first-year-revisions.

Yami really needs a new mountain sled offering when you compare the two models they offer with the 5+ the other guys offer. My only hope for next years 'new' sled is that they dont just stretch the viper and call it their new mountain sled. I'd love to see a new machine rocking the 4 cyl Apex motor... that would make me STRONGLY reconsider buying a used or new Viper.

A proclimb chassis with the nytro engine and dealer turbo option is my best bet for the "new" mtx sled. The couple of people I kind of asked about that there didn't have much to say one way or the other, but they weren't denying it. IMO having MPI there with their turbo kit on the viper in the future trailer is a pretty big hint.
