2 weeks ago I went onto the yamaha site. Chose the Viper XTX and then accessories and it gave me only the accessories for the Viper.
Now its changed and goes to the entire accessories catalog. you then chose year and model.
Almost all the items have changed
They list only the poly mounts for the gips but no hand protectors to go on them.
There is now 3 shock upgrades instead of 1 The evol RC2
There is only the grandma windshield
There is now a handwarmer upgrade kit (that scares me - cold hands again?)
The tether switch is no longer available

I noticed the changes but can't make much sense of it. Seems to be lots of items missing. Maybe the guy who did the Viper shipping worked on it?

Yup, a lot of things changed and there is a lot of things missing, including for most of us........the sleds themselves! Still waiting!

Changed 18 November, things are harder to find and may be things missing. Every time I go there I do find things I could not find on pervious visits.
Not sure if is because I'm getting better at looking or their fixing things.

I went on there trying to find jackets and bibs, what's pain in the a$$. I'm just going to wait until everything is at the dealers. But it seems they are going to be promt on accessories just like vipers.

Dealers do have a Viper only accessory catalog. But my dealer has only one or two, nothing to give out. Have not seen it anywhere on line. Port Yamaha does not have it on their website.

Fortunately I shopped the catalog before the change, saved them in My Yamaha, and sent the list to my dealer.
I also noticed that some of the items I wanted show "out of stock" when I select them now including items I selected but have not yet been received at the dealership. The dealer does have a delivery date next week. If you can, stop by your dealer and discuss your needs you might find things easier to select. I don't think the dealers knew about the change either so don't be too hard on them.

The original accessory lists showed a blue/graphics sport windshield. I don't see it on the new website. Has anyone seen one?

Good news on the blue windshield. Does it flare out towards your hands. In one pic it looks like it, I've seen a picture of a red one that looks like it does not. Is it high enough to hide a windshield bag? Also hoping for some powdered coating on a arms and spindles, but again, no sled yet.

I remember when I bought my 03 RX it was a new product launch and it came in to the dealer in October 2002! Bad thing about that was when the motor blew the 3 yr warranty had expired in October of 2005 Sorry so sad they said
So by not getting this thing till January means that warranty will still be in force into next riding season....... Oh crap putting turbo on voids the warranty
