When do you change your oil?

I have a 2015 Yamaha Viper LTX-se. I did the break in oil change at 5oo miles. I now have 2400 miles on my machine. I am using Royal Purple full synthetic oil and a K&N oil filter. When should I do my next oil change. How many miles are you guys getting/ridding before you do your second oil change?

By the way I love the 4 stroke vs my Ski-doo. No issues except for my shocks fade but the dealer is going to rebuild them for free under warranty.

Once broke in I do it seasonal every spring before storing unless I see it turning black. Average about 3- 3500mi a year. I would not go over that just based on looks. I would always change it before storage so all contaminates are out of oil.
