I have 5700 miles on my 04 Warrior and I grease the skid and front end on every trip I do, I'm using Amsoil waterproof synthetic grease, I have not taken the skid out yet, but I was wondering how all the bushings hold up in the skid? has anyone had to replace these yet?

I would think they would be toast already... I wore out the front shock bushings on my 02 viper at 1200 miles..

I would seriously consider pulling the skid and replacing all of the bushings. I had 3000 miles on mine and 90% of all the bushings were junk! Seems that regardless of the greased used they still fail prematurely.

ride it the rest of the season, and pull skid in summer, most bushings will need replacing. while your at it, change all wheel bearings(there cheap) and you wont have to worry about them next year.

At the end of last year I had 6698 miles on my 03 RX-1 and I pulled the suspention out. The nylon bushings were ok, but not in new shape. They looked like they could last at least another year.

I also greased all the boggy wheel bearings. This I always did every other year and occasionally replaced some.

Don't forget the jack shaft and drive shaft bearings. They too need to checked and regreased. I grease the drive shaft bearing about every 2000 miles and it always needs it.
