Alright, first sled with electric start for me. Going through my pre-season work. Existing battery voltage reads and stays about 12.3V. I trickle charge it for say a day and it goes up to maybe 12.4V, but drifts back to around 12.33V if off the charger a day. It never gets to like 12.8V on the charger. Seems to stay right at the 12.3V mark off the charger and doesn't lose from there. Do I run this battery for the season?

The shop manual says replace if below 12V. I'm measuring the voltage in my garage tht has a bit of heat, so what can I expect out of this battery at -20 in the north woods?

Hoping someone with experience can shed some light on this for me.

Good idea MrSled. I was just hoping there were some way I could test at home.
