Yamaha made the most reliable 2 strokes in the industry from 1998 until they quick building them. Yamaha needs something big before I re-join the fray. Until then I am enjoying my 12 600 Switchback. My biggest concern is will it ever snow!!??!!

Huh...wha? I'll agree that it was the lightest 4-stroke sled of 2007 but liquid cooled? No f-ing way. I remember the ad they had that year showing it hanging from a scale with an F-5 equipped with reverse and e-start hanging next to it. It was lighter than the F-5 but nothing else. The F series of Cat's were known for being heavy 2-strokes. Still, the ad impressed me. Yamaha had a lot of good ideas going with the Phazer. Never understood why that had to completely redesign it to fit in the Nytro motor? Back then, many of us wanted a Phazer with a larger, higher HP motor.

Low Slung seems to be a Yamaha insider spinster wannabe. Too much weight, not enough snow and a LOT of time on his/her hands. More riding/less sh!t disturbing. I don't know how someone on an outdated machine from Clarenville, Newfoundland can claim to have so much inside information on a company a half a world away. Just sayin.

Serously this is one of the best sledding sites on the web because it seems like these posts are kept to a min. Start an off topic thread in Snowgoer Trash talk and have fun there!@

I could not agree more. I have abandoned other sites because trolls have taken over. I am glad that the mods do such a good job here.
