Where did the post go with all the Nytro complaints?

Why are posts getting deleted? It was 5-6 pages long now its deleted? Even Chris from Yamahablogs replied to it....

Why admins? Forums should be free speech, why are posts getting deleted?

It really didnt seem that bad, like I mentioned in it, the egros are fantastic. amazing motor but the front end isnt great needs to be fixed.

If it was getting too heated why not lock it, instead of deleting it totally?

It was my call.... when users get rude and dont want to respect me or the rules... it it will be removed....

Start another thread!!!

As far as freedom of speech, this is a public site but is privately owned by me..... your rights are limited to what I want them to be... granted I am very open on this site and honor good civil adult conversation, but rules are rules and if we don't want to play nice then I can just turn it off in a second.

You have a problem with the way I run the site I would be glad to meet with you, by phone, email or whatever fits your needs.

Thanks for the response, I know where you're coming from MrSled. I run another forum that isnt snowmobile related users get very upset when a post once got deleted (not by me). I can see where they were coming from.

That post was informative for new people wanting to buy a nytro I thought so they could avoid 2008 models (unless yamaha rolls out a fix)

Mark, I dont want users to avoid the 08 as Yamaha will pull through. How do you think dealers are going to sell over stock 08 Nytros?? With out some kind of improvement to those machines they will sit in the crates at dealers forever. I have heard rumbling of good things coming but we all need to wait and relax. 1st year sleds always have quirks and there are always piles of updates and improvements in any product.

As I had stated before, I would be very suprised if Yamaha comes up with a fix for the 08's. I know BRP would not have done that, and if Yamaha actually comes through they WILL have a new customer on an 08 Nytro.

gave some answers on that right here.

as far as historical value goes, nobody is going to wade thru 8 pages,( as much as 4 pages of it was off topic) and the on topic posts really didnt cover any new ground.

It is a tough time of year as people expect fixes to be delivered at their doorstep in todays mail. It dont work that way, late summer or fall. Wont have too much early word on it either. No manufacturer is gonna comment until they have their ducks in a row with all the details worked out.

I won't be making up my mind for sure on whether I buy a Yamaha for several months anyway, so I'm not concerned about a quick answer. What I'm getting at is this, do you Yamaholics SINCERELY believe that a fix is coming? And if the answer is yes, will it be free? Is that too much to expect? (In my experience in this industry it is) It's funny that while I keep asking this, nobody here wants to hit it head-on and go out on a limb with a prediction???? It's very interesting the subtle differences between people in the manufacturers camps!

I believe there will be something and it may not be free....but thats me and based on what I am hearing...

If I said a for sure yes, that would be a lie. But I think the odds are good.
If you read Yamaha blogs.ca, you can tell it is a priority but in the way that they are still assembling info to see what they can do. At this snapshot in time, much of the focus has to be on on launching and demo-ing the 09 sleds and doing all the last minute details as production will start in 6 weeks or so.. That is where they're are at with it and I dare to say nobody knows much more than that at this moment.

Do you believe that Yamaha is unique in their response to product issues?
Do you feel they typically respond to product deficiencies better than the other three? Put it this way, have they let you down in the past???
