Okay Canadians....Where is the cheapest place to get a 144" Backcountry track? I found one on a website that they will sell for $760 shipped. My Yamaha dealer wants $900.

When installing this track should I take out all of the tunnel protectors or just at the front on the exchanger?

I removed the whole thing on my stretched rtx. Less ice build up. I love this track!!! Talk about hooking up!!!!

A definite must have for the Nytro's. Just installed the backcountry ($660 from a dealer in Elie, MB) on my XTX and absolutely love it. I was getting outclassed in the powder by buddies M8 and XP800 Summit.....but not anymore. The addition also helped my XTX's ability to keep the skis up in the deep powder.
I know this is off topic, but if you are considering turning your Nytro into a backcountry type sled, definitely consider the Simmons Gen II skis. Yes they look goofy cause they're 10 inches wide, however they keep the Nytro front end way, way out of the powder. I actually find my XTX easier to side hill with as well. Though the skis push a little, as most Simmons do, they completely eliminate any darting so I find myself alot less fatigued after longer rides. Since I'm 170lbs soak and wet, anything to make my Nytro less fatiguing is a great thing.
