Is it in the tank, from searching it migh tbe just a screen? Or is there a screen on the carbs?

two filters in the tank on the end of the fuel line . you can actually get at them from the fuller cap with a bent coat hanger.

OK thanks I will look at them, they just lay on the bottom of the tank? Removed through filler cap?

why add more restace to the fuel flow by adding two extra fuel filters? i remove those stuped little screens to get max fuel flow and have found that the stock fuel fillters in the fuel tank work just fine with out any extra help . you will have to look veay had to find a fillter that will out flow those .

I would be worried about plastic filters above exaust manifolds as the warm cold cycle will make them brittle and possibly leak and cause a fire. 
I suggest the same pull the filters from the carbs and change the tank filters every season or so altho most times they arent even dirty....
