Ok guys I know this question has probably been asked a million times but I just finished changing the engine oil on my 05 RX1, notta problem and now I want to change the oil in the chain case...Wheres the drain plug...On all my previous sleds it was at the bottom on the chain case. I don't want to unscrew any unnecessary bolts if I don't have to...

Thanx...

It's in the backside of the chaincase, through the tunnel. You have to get up there between the tunnel and the driver to get it out. Its easier and less of a mess to just pop the cover off IMO, unless you have reverse maybe its different.

Thanks guys, yes I have reverse but I think its like you said on the inside... one more thing I forgot to mention...How much Yammie oil is required???

I'd get 8oz. to fill it but only put in about 5oz. and check the level. There's a seperate mark if you have reverse and it takes a little less oil, Ken.

I topped it up until the oil was half way between the two opposing arrows on the reverse side not the standard side...I'm guessing thats the correct fill mark if you have reverse which I do. I also learned you MUST fill it slowly otherwise it gets messy.

Thanx for all your help and advice guys...God bless TY!!!
