i built my own rearmount turbo system on my apex and i was using a fuel pump for the first part of this year, to supply the turbo with oil. and i had a catch tank underneath the turbo. the pump cut out a few times and destroyed my turbo, :o| but i cant seem to find a new oil pump any where, the ones a have found: boondocker $373, and a weldco pump they want $550 so if anybody knows where i could get one for $200 or less that would be great

I have used the holley red pump for oil scavanging with good success. you might be able to use it to supply your turbo. on the two strokes, we have used the faucet low pressure pump. it works good on the garrett ball bearing turbos and you can get it from napa.

Oil Scavenge pump

Every kind of pump have been tried and failed.

On limited use, it may no show up for a season or two but pumps not designed specifically for this task will FAIL.

RB Racing Carries an Italian made Specific Oil Scavange pump, it is Pricey but will last a lifetime.

I carry them and use them in all of our remote or Low mounted turbo applications.

Ted.
