I definitely need the left side, I can see where the flange is cracked off on 1 pipe. I ordered the SS ones from dealer but 1 side (I don't know which) is in Japan still and won't be here until the end of March. Unacceptable.

I called Port and another place in Maine, same thing, on back order.

Bender racing has them for $399.95 for both with donuts. They are AKQD steel with black heat coating.

Ulmer has Stainless for $550.00.

Both their websites say all this, I haven't confirmed that they have them. What's the difference between these 2 types? I'm not looking for added performance. Do I have other options? I don't want to get the bad piece welded as I'm going to need to replace them anyway eventually...

Thanks for any info!!

Ulmer stainless are excell headers & 3.5 hp gain ,there is a dyno print in his forum at the bottom under preferred venders

You can buy steel ones now from yamaha 91.00 each looks to last longer buy the excell or ulmer & bender if you want a little better flow

Budweiser - I should have the stainless left side ones in on Friday or at the latest early next week as we got confirmation of shipment on them today. Give us a call at 262-284-5995 if you would like to reserve one of ones coming in for stock. Thanks

Thanks Port-parts but my dealer told me the same thing today. Its the left side I need too so that worked out. I can replace the other side when it comes in...

For others info, Bender racing has both for 399.00 with donuts. Steel ones. They had SS for 499.

My dealer said this is the first they had heard of this......?

I am looking for a right side y pipe? Just talked with Kevin and sounds like left side ss replacements will be available soon but not the right. :o| Any body know where one might be found?? :rocks: A PM here or email to michmobiler@gmail.com would be much appreciated! Thanks, Chuck

Well I hope the dealers have them in stock by the time I need em.. I have 1800 miles on now so I should be able to get through this year, and maybe next... By then, everyone should have them and maybe yamaha will recall em for us.......... LOL.... probably NOT!!
